Our solid pipe is ideal for moving water from tree lines. Roots will not penetrate and damage the pipe. Solid drain tile is also great for a temporary drain from residential buildings and homes.

Perforated is the most commonly used style of drain tile. It will drain any soil including clay. This pipe is often used on downspouts and in crop fields.

Perforated pipe with sock filter works best in loam or sandy soils. The sock material provides an extra filter so the fine particles can't seep into the pipe and cause a blockage.

Knife Slot (a.k.a. Sand Slot) has become a popular alternative to pipe that is Perforated with Sock Filter. It is known to provide similar drainage at a lower cost.

This specialty pipe has 5/8" holes that allow for maximum drainage in soil types such as peat and muck. We also offer packages with Sock Filter to keep out unwanted debris.
